Water world

On July 12 we went to Water World. All together there were 15 of us which included the boys, Ben's sisters family and my brother and niece.


The morning started off fairly good considering we had 6 people trying to get ready with one bathroom. Not to smooth but it worked. I was in such a rush that I left our towels at the apartment so we stopped at Walgreens near the park and bought some. I ended up with Tinkerbell and Ben ended up with Cars.


Trevor did not take any shoes to wear so we ended up purchasing some flip-flops. Shawn bought some water shoes at Walgreens but still managed to destroy his toes on a ride. No one ended up extremely burned which was great.


It had been a number of years since I had been and Shawn had never been. Overall it was a great trip. Ben and I are hoping to go again before it closes for the season. There are so many more slides we weren't able to go on that we would like to.

After Waterworld we went to Casa Bonita. That was another experience. Food was OK. Service was lacking until a different server spilled salsa and pop on Ben's sisters. We ended up getting great service after that plus they picked up the tab for the whole meal. This wasn't because of the spilling of the pop and salsa but because another manager laughed when Marcia reported it.
